Research

1) Primary research is research that does not exist until you create it. It's the collection of data that does not exist. It may be done through experiments or case studies. It's research that you have done yourself instead of getting it from another source.

2) Secondary research is the collection of data from existing research which may come from the Internet or the library. It is research from a different source other than your own. It is also called desk research.

3) Time lapse is when a camera is set to take images every few seconds. Then the images are put together to create a time lapse. It records changes that take place slowly over time. When the frames are shown in normal time it appears faster.

4) Today we produced a stop motion animation of a series of hand movements. The camera took an image every 2 seconds. I worked with Josh and Emily in creating the stop motion animation and the program we used was IStopMotion, a program for Mac computers used for creating these types of movies.

5) This was the video that we produced:

6) This is a video produced by another person in the class, Timothy.
